Moving every two years is a way of life we are becoming accustomed to – as a result of my husband’s job. In preparation for a move a couple of years ago, I was not looking forward to packing all our stuff into boxes – particularly the things in the loft we hadn’t touched since we moved in.
Looking for tips on decluttering, I came across an essay on the Minimalists blog that got me hooked. I spent my evening reading their blog instead of packing boxes.
That was in April 2013, and since then we have started whittling down our possessions and looking for ways to lighten the load. I have been decluttering in fits and starts. Things have a habit of sneaking in (especially stationery and hobby stuff) but we are doing our best to learn what we can live without..
